How the market works.
How slots, take prices, payouts and weekly decay work on $WEBSITE: every element on the page is owned, priced in USD and settled in $WEB on Solana.

01 — Every element is a slot
The landing page is not a design, it is inventory. Every headline, paragraph, button label, image, ticker item and footer link is an individually owned slot with its own price, owner and history.
Turn on HEAT in the corner HUD to shade the page by ownership and reveal prices. Hover any slot to open its card, then take it.
- Text slots — you supply the copy, rendered in the page's own typography.
- Image slots — you supply an https:// image URL, rendered in the existing frame.
- Link slots — label plus destination, normalised to https.
- Ticker slots — short lines that scroll in the marquee strip.
02 — Prices are in USD, settlement is in SOL
Slot prices are quoted in US dollars so they stay readable across market swings. At checkout the server converts the quote into a live SOL amount using an on-chain price feed, and your wallet signs a single SOL transfer to the treasury. The treasury then converts that SOL into $WEB.
The quote is short-lived. If you sit on the card while the token price moves, the next quote you request will differ — the dollar price is what stays fixed.
Ownership only changes after the server confirms the transfer on-chain. No confirmed transfer, no slot; a failed or partial transfer never mutates the page.
You pay in SOL plus the usual Solana network fee. Every dollar of treasury revenue is routed into $WEB.
03 — Anything can be taken
Nothing here is permanently yours. Anyone can take a slot you own by paying 1.4x its current price — that is the always-on ask, no negotiation and no accepting required.
When it happens you are credited 1.15x what you paid, a 15% gain on your entry, and the new owner rewrites the content immediately.
The 25% difference between the 40% the taker pays and the 15% the seller receives funds the treasury that keeps the market running.
- You buy a slot at $10.
- Its take price is immediately $14.00.
- Someone takes it: you are credited $11.50.
- Their new price becomes $14.00, and their take price $19.60.
04 — Idle slots get cheaper
Every slot sheds 10% of its price per week while nobody takes it, decaying smoothly rather than in weekly steps, down to the floor price it can never go below.
This stops expensive squats from freezing the page. If a slot is priced beyond what anyone will pay, time pulls it back toward the floor until someone bites.
Decay is calculated from the last sale timestamp, so a slot that just changed hands is at its most expensive and a long-untouched slot is the cheapest way in.
- One week idle — about 10% off the last sale price.
- One month idle — roughly a third off.
- Indefinitely idle — settles at the slot's floor price and stops there.
05 — Content rules
Text, links and images are yours to choose. Image slots require a direct https:// image URL; links are normalised to https and open in a new tab.
Content is public and largely unmoderated. Illegal material, malware and phishing are removed without refund, and the slot returns to the market at its floor price.
Everything is on a public page under a real domain. Assume anything you post is permanent, screenshot and attributable to the wallet that paid for it.
06 — Earnings and payouts
Payouts accrue against your wallet the moment one of your slots is taken. They are recorded from on-chain events, so nothing depends on you being online at the time.
Open the Earnings page and connect the wallet that owns the slots — or paste any address — to see everything held, current portfolio value, realised payouts and unrealised gains.
Each payout links to its Solscan transaction so the whole history is independently verifiable.
07 — Frequently asked
- Can I keep a slot forever? No. Any slot can be taken at any time at its take price — that is the entire mechanic.
- Can I raise my own price? Prices move only through takes and decay, so the market sets them, not the owner.
- What if my transaction fails? Nothing changes. Ownership is only written after an on-chain confirmation.
- Do I need the token to browse? No. Reading, HEAT mode and the Earnings page are free; taking a slot just needs SOL in your wallet.
- Which wallets work? Phantom, Solflare, Trust, Jupiter and any wallet exposing the standard Solana provider.
